Specimen Type/Requirements
Collect specimen using Dual Swab in Liquid Stuart Medium (Lawson No. 6117712) or ESwab (Lawson No. 6264320). Insert both swabs into nostril about 1-2 cm and rotate 5 times while applying pressure on the outside of the nose. Using the same swabs, repeat for the second nostril.
