Specimen Type/Requirements
Stool: Green Cap Para-Pak Eco Fix Stool (Refer to Stool Collection Guide) Fill to line indicated.
Also Acceptable, pink cap para pak ova and paresite 10% formalin and total - fix.
Fresh Specimens: Duodenal Fluid, Bile, Induced Sputum and Bronchial washings - Sterile container
Specimen Volume
Stool: Prpperly fill para- pak eco fix stool container (apporoximately 5 mL. Specimens will be rejected if level is above or below the "fill to" line.
Fresh Specimen: Preferred Volume 5mL , Minimum volume 1 mL
