Specimen Type/Requirements

Draw 3 ACD-B tubes and 2 plain red top tubes. If patient is on dialysis, the blood MUST be drawn pre-dialysis. Keep at room temperature.

Preferred Volume 21 mL whole blood (ACD-B) & 14 mL whole blood (Red)
Minimum Volume 3 mL whole blood (ACD-B) & 7 mL whole blood (Red)
