Specimen Type/Requirements
Purple-Top (EDTA) Tube, tube must be full.
Place tube in ice/water bath (cup filled with ice and water).
Centrifuge and remove plasma within 15 minutes.
Hemolyzed specimens will be rejected. Lipemia may interfere.
