Gold top (Serum w/gel) tube - Serum
Red top (Serum w/out gel) tube - Serum
Separate from cells within 60 minutes after drawing sample.
Patient should be fasting 12-14 hours.
This test requires its own frozen aliquot. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Test is affected by gross hemolysis and lipemia.
