  • Urine is stable for 24 hours refrigerated before adding to Cobas Media.

REJECTION Criteria:

  • Bloody or dark brown specimens

 

 

 Vaginal/Cervical/Throat/Rectal Swab

  • Vaginal, Throat and Rectal specimens REQUIRE the WOVEN swab. 
  • Endocervical specimens REQUIRE the FLOCKED swab.

REJECTION Criteria:

  • Bloody or dark brown specimens
  • Both swabs in media
  • No swab in media
  • Incorrect swab in media
